The Utica Police Department is dedicated to the preservation of the peace, the fair enforcement of the law, the protection of our residents and businesses, and service to the community. We are committed to maintaining a high quality of life in the community, striving for excellence in the ranks, and to treating all persons with the utmost respect.

To achieve our goals, we work as a team n the department and cooperatively with the community, businesses,and other governmental agencies. We strive for professional development, diversity and ethical behavior.

Through our efforts, we hope to ensure that the City of Utica is a welcome community for visitors, and a safe community for our children.
